- Warm welcome from fellow Veterans and First Responders
- Brief opening readings and introduction to the 12-step focus
- Voluntary sharing—no one is ever required to talk
- No cross-talk, advice-giving, or fixing during shares
- Time for fellowship and informal conversation before/after the meeting
Who Our Meetings Are For
PTSD Recovery Fellowship meetings are primarily for:
- Veterans from any branch of service, any era
- First Responders, including law enforcement, fire, EMS, dispatch, and related roles
If you’re unsure whether this fellowship is right for you, you’re welcome to reach out or attend a meeting and simply observe. We honor each person’s service and story.
Some meetings may be limited to Veterans and First Responders only. Others may welcome trusted family members or supporters. Check the meeting listing for details.

- Brief explanation of PTSD Recovery Fellowship
- Reading on one of the 12 steps or a related topic
- Member sharing
- Announcements / fellowship information
- Closing reading or moment of silence
Safety, Confidentiality & Respect
A Safe, Confidential Space
We recognize the courage it takes to walk into a meeting—especially after years of carrying trauma alone. Every meeting is guided by simple safety and respect guidelines to protect your privacy and dignity.
- What is shared in the room, stays in the room.
- Members are free to share as much or as little as they choose.
- No recording, photography, or quoting others without explicit consent.
- We avoid graphic details that may trigger others.
- We honor all forms of service and all paths of recovery.
